All dismissal changes must be requested before 12:00 PM each day.

A Message from your Principal

  • Dear SPARK Families,

We are excited to celebrate our wonderful principal, Dr. Toney! On Wednesday, October 9th, students are invited to wear their SPARK shirts, joggers, and favorite sneakers as we all join together in “Stepping Up to Celebrate Dr. Toney’s Birthday!”

We would also love for students to show their creativity by making personalized sneaker themed birthday cards at home to bring in. This is a fun way for students to share their love and appreciation for Dr. Toney. Please remember to include her now famous tagline: “Love you, Mean it!”

Also, our SPARK Fun Run will take place on Thursday, October 10th. This event, hosted by Boosterthon, is one of our two major fundraisers of the year, and we are so grateful for the generous support our parents and families provide through donations. The Fun Run is also one of the most joyful days at SPARK, and we would love for you to join us to cheer on your runners. Bring your folding chairs, pompoms, and plenty of school spirit. You can find the Fun Run schedule with times for each grade level here: SPARK Parent Fun Run Schedule. Please allow extra time to check in through the front office with your state issued ID and to find parking since spaces are limited.

Finally, a reminder that students will be on Fall Break from October 13 through 17. We hope families use this time to rest, recharge, and enjoy special moments together. Teachers will also provide optional activities for the Extended Learning Day that is built into our district calendar on October 13.

Thank you for all the ways you support our school community. We cannot wait to celebrate alongside you next week!

    With appreciation,
    Sara Pruett
