    Dismissal Changes

If your child has a permanent change, their permanent bag tag should be updated.  For example, now that clubs have started and they are in Art Club every Monday, their permanent bag tag needs to reflect this.  For dismissal changes, email your child’s teacher and Mrs. Taylor at Odette.Taylor@atlanta.k12.ga.us. All dismissal changes must be requested before 12:00 PM each day.

This year’s Fun Run will take place right here on SPARK’s campus. Visitor times will be shared next week so you can plan to attend. Please sign in at the front office with a state-issued ID when you arrive.

On event day, Friday, October 10, students will receive a SPARK t-shirt to wear. Please send them in comfortable running shoes and pack a change of clothes. The colorful powder sometimes calls for an outfit swap afterward!

The Fun Run is about more than just running laps. It is about building community, celebrating school spirit, and raising funds for the incredible instructional and STEAM materials our PTO provides each year. Your support has already made a huge difference. Families will see campus improvements such as new turf, play equipment, and beautification initiatives that were funded by past efforts.

The Fun Run is just one of many ways to support SPARK throughout the year. Families can volunteer their time at school events, contribute directly to PTO, and encourage friends and family to sponsor students during the Fun Run, and contribute donations to our annual SPARK auction held in March, SPARK After Dark.  Each effort, big or small, helps strengthen our community and provides resources that enrich learning for all of our students. We hope every family can find meaningful ways to get involved, not only during the Fun Run but all year long. Together, we’ll continue to make SPARK shine!

    With gratitude,

    Dr. Jennifer Toney
