The Office of Partnerships and Development works with the philanthropic community to match unfunded strategic priorities with external resources to meet the needs of our students and our schools.
Our vision is to intentionally create and engage long-standing strategic relationships and provide resources for the district, schools, and staff of APS through a foundation of collaboration, respect, customer service, effective engagement and trust.
Our priority areas are centered around Volunteerism and Mentoring, Adopt a School, and Whole Child Intervention.
VOLUNTEERISM and MENTORSHIP
You will have the opportunity to volunteer as community mentors, and participate in school-wide initiatives and events.
ADOPT A SCHOOL
Our goal is to ensure that every school has a corporate sponsor across the district. This will be an opportunity to support the needs of the schools through expertise, leadership, and resources for students and their families.
WHOLE CHILD INTERVENTION
Financial investments are needed to support the demands and wraparound resources of schools across the district. Your investment will directly impact schools and bridge the gaps.
We work with:
- The District to proactively create and engage long-standing strategic relationships for APS.
- Schools to serve students and staff by equitably distributing and maximizing partnerships and resources to them.
- Departments to act as thought partners for accessing resources and making connections to further their work and offset general funds.
