Nutrition Services

Nutrition Services is offering a “Cookout” experience to schools on a first-come, first-serve basis during May 1-23, 2025. Our department will provide grills, grilling services, and a nutritious meal for your end-of-the-year picnics and field days. The Cookout Menu (see below) will replace the regularly scheduled menu for all students on the requested day whether or not they are participating in the outdoor experience. These meals meet the requirements of the National School Lunch program and are accounted for in the same way as a regular school lunch.

Below is the procedure for placing a Cookout Request by Tuesday, April 22.

1. Use the following link to select your preferred date for the Cookout and to complete the Cookout Request Order Form. 

2. Please submit only one Cookout Request Order Form per school by Tuesday, April 22. Requests will be granted on a first come, first served basis.

3. The Cookout Request Order Form is where we will capture information on how to plan meals for all students at your school, i.e. those who are participating in the Cookout Experience and those who are not. We will need to capture the lunch needs of your school as a whole for that day.
4. Please note that Nutrition Services will provide the grill, serving containers and utensils for the outdoor service, however any tents, tables, chairs, garbage cans, etc. will need to be provided by the school.
