Mr. Rowland Edwards
Rowland Edwards is a Senior Director, Internal Audit for the Coca-Cola Company where he is accountable for managing the portfolio for North America and Global Technology Services while developing and executing a global data analytics strategy for the department. In the role, Rowland has responsibility for protecting the revenue of the company for the United States and Canada, representing about $15B in revenue. Also, with regard to Technology Services, Rowland has a worldwide responsibility to ensure that the appropriate protection for the company's information systems exists and is measured to industry standards.
He began his career at the company in the internal audit department, where he had a progressive career in responsibilities and roles. He managed finance and IT audits and had primary responsibilities for managing the international IT audits with regular cadence with the international chief information officers. Rowland then took on roles within the Bottling Investment Group (BIG) to manage the cybersecurity function responsible for performing cybersecurity risk assessments and putting in place a plan to address capability and maturity gaps for company-owned bottlers. This required collaborating across different functions to operationalize the plan. Experience includes managing through cyber incidents and bringing capabilities to life using technology for the order to cash finance process, focusing on point of sale in the market.
